What restaurant owners ask us.

Is it really 0% commission?

Yes. Card payments run through your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, so the money goes straight to you — we are never in the middle of it. You pay a flat subscription (or a one-time founding fee), and we take nothing per order.

What fees do I still pay?

Your own card provider still charges its normal processing fee — Stripe, Square and PayPal publish their rates. That fee exists on every platform; the difference here is that nothing is added on top of it, and no per-order platform fee exists at all.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Plans run monthly, 3-monthly or yearly and you can cancel anytime — there is no minimum term and no exit fee. Founding seats are a one-time payment, not a contract.

Who owns my domain, website and data?

You do. Your domain is registered in your name, the site content is yours, and your menu, photos, pages and policies are exportable whenever you want them.

What happens if Dishlane disappears?

You keep everything that matters: your domain is registered to you, your Stripe, Square or PayPal account is yours, and you can export your content — menu, photos, pages, policies. Your money was never routed through us in the first place.

Do you do POS — taking orders at the counter?

Yes. The POS module takes orders and card payments at the counter and at the table, in the same system as your online orders and kitchen screen.

Where does Dishlane operate?

We are built in the UK, for UK independents, and everything is priced and settled in pounds (GBP). If you trade outside the UK, we are honestly not the right fit yet.

Who actually uses this today?

Ottomans on Wood Street, Walthamstow (E17) is our first live restaurant — 4.9★ on Google across 112 reviews. We are a new platform and would rather show you one real restaurant than a wall of logos. Ask us for a look around it.
